Chelsea is so, so cool. Here is why… she flew into Cali to have a boudoir shoot done by yours truly, she bought most of her amazing outfits on Pinupgirlclothing.com , she added a “Cinema Short” to her Supermodel Package, she is comfortable in her own skin, AND she let us show her boudoir video with you. Thanks Chelsea!

We have been chosen to photograph the San Diego famous…..Ashlee and Skye from the Rock 105.3′s “The Show!!!” We are so excited to show off their military inspired pin-up calendar in the coming weeks but for now we will kick things off with this fun behind the scenes teaser. Ashley (our Ash)  and I had so much fun photographing them. I think a Hummer and fake ammunition will make any shoot one to remember. Then add two hilarious ladies and sets and outfits that would make any photographers day and you have the hottest pin-up calendar San Diego has ever seen.

We have been so grateful for all the love they are giving us on air as well. And SD ladies must trust these girls faving reviews of us because the phones are ringing off the hook!  Thank you so much Skye and Ashlee!!!

The Boudoir Divas team has worked so hard putting together this fun shoot, and when it finally arrived we were thrilled! This is a concept we have been dreaming of doing for quite sometime. Dreamy, romantic and reminder of the beauty that God has so lovingly placed in all our hearts. For a while we have had fun putting together very dramatic projects and calling them “Editorial Shoots.” While that name served its purpose, it didn’t have the overall scope for what these shoots meant to us personally as artists. So from now on we will be referring to them as, “Believe in Beauty, a concept shoot by The Boudoir Divas.”

I cannot tell you how thrilled we are as a group to release the video/slideshow of this shoot. It will take a little bit of time, but will completely be worth it. It will feature the fabulous Tenley Molzahn & Kiptyn of The Bachelor! It will feature a song by the very talented photographer AND musician (sexy huh?!) love of my life, Mr. Weston Boucher. Hair and make-up was done by the kickass Peggy Rogers. Incredible friends came to help and don tuxes and John and Norma of NR3 helped us with most of the filming! Oh and one of the very best things, we had help from an amazing hot air balloon company, SKY SURFER! They were so helpful to work with and their balloon was gorgeous!

With Summer just around the corner, we are gearing up for our busiest time of the year here in our San Diego Studio.  Not only are we packed with brides-to-be, but we get girls who want to pamper themselves, have a girls day out with their friends (our Pin Up Parties), or just feel in the mood to show off some skin and their bikini ready body to that special someone.

It seems we are a little been behind on posting recent shoots, but we have been so busy in the studio we haven’t had the chance!  So I just wanted to take a moment and post some pics of women who recently came in and are oh-so ready for Summer!  I (Ashley) had the pleasure of photographing all of these awesome ladies.  I seriously feel so blessed that this is what my job consists of on a daily basis!  On that note, I have to thank these ladies for not only making my job that much more fun and enjoyable, but for signing image release forms so that I can share their gorgeous images with all of you!

Tiffany and I bonded over having the same bra :)  It’s awesome and from Victoria’s Secret for those wondering!  Look at her gorgeous green eyes!

Rachel’s from the same town as me! (Along with Marissa, Danielle and Deena for that matter).  She rocked the pin up pose, even though she thought I was crazy at first for making her feel so silly. :)

Ms. L had such a fun personality and although she didn’t pick them for her album, I got some awesome laughing pictures of her.  We both laughed a LOT during her shoot!

I was obsessed with getting great shots of Ms. C’s tattoo.  I loved the colors!  This was the last set of her photo shoot and we had a blast with the fan and even got some great jumping shots.  So fun :).

Thanks again ladies!  You all rocked your shoots and hope you love the finished product.  Hope to see you again some day for another photo shoot! :)

If you don’t know who Tenley Molzahn is – where have you been?! :) Just kidding… I have to admit that I was somewhat starstruck when we met her on the red carpet at Kim Kardashian’s watch launch party last month. Yes, The Bachelor is one of my guilty pleasure shows (I can’t help myself!) :) I watched the whole season that Tenley was on (she had her heart broken by Jake in the final episode). I think it’s safe to say that Tenley became ‘America’s sweetheart’ on that season of the Bachelor, and since then, she’s also found love with Kiptyn – and we are so happy for them! (Aren’t they such a cute couple?!) Anyway… it was so great meeting Tenley, and we told her that she needed to come into the studio for a boudoir shoot. She wanted to do something a little more conservative, which of course is totally ok with us! We had an absolute blast with her, and she rocked her shoot. We asked her if she would share why a boudoir photo shoot is a great gift idea for Valentine’s Day, and here’s what she had to say:

Jennifer Lary is awesome! She is so beautiful inside and out. When I first met Jennifer I thought for sure she was a model then, as I started talking to her during her viewing I found a little more about her. She said that her friends were NOT going to believe her when they see her photos! She mentioned how she was a super casual girl who wears pigtail braids almost everyday! My jaw dropped when she told me this! I couldn’t believe what this super hot, model material girl was saying to me!

I loved the whole thing!  I went from looking like a 16 year old girl to my actual age of 28 in those photos.  I loved them.  I know you guys have tons of ladies that come in and probably cannot remember everyones names but please tell Marissa, Peggy, Kimberlee, Deena thank you for all of there hard work.  Oh can’t forget the new girl (Danielle) that helped me pick out my photos, she was cool too!

I will let every lady I know to come to you guys.  Even if they don’t have a man to give these to, they should be getting them done for themselves like I did.  I can’t wait until I’m 80 and then I will really get to show my photos off  lol.

My boudoir Divas experience has come full circle. My husband’s reaction to his gift was priceless… there was a lot of laughing combined with questions of ‘when? how? where?’ He loved loved LOVED it! We were on our way to the airport and he had to download the pics onto his laptop before we left! We just started trying to have a family ad he said that day, he wants me to go back and have pictures taken by you with my big belly. It is difficult to put into words what this experience meant to me. The two hours I spent at your studio made me feel sexy and beautiful. From the different outfits, and poses, to seeing the finished product, and holding back tears of excitement! Thank you for the work you do!!

I (Crystal) was emailing back and forth with a client yesterday regarding her order and at the end of an email wrote, “BTW, what did you think of your supermodel video? What did your hubby think of everything?!!” Her response is priceless….

My oh my, I can’t even replicate the sound that came out of his mouth when he saw the photos; it was like an animal growl. He loves LOVES them to say the least, as do I.

I know he thought I was beautiful before, but the level of sexiness and sex appeal that the photos show just brought it to a new level. And for once, I feel the way he sees me! I think as women it’s hard to see ourselves in that way when we look in the mirror because we see the everyday woman in looking back at us, with all of the things we dislike about ourselves. But for some reason, seeing myself in print was completely different; I didn’t see the things about myself I don’t like, I saw the whole package…and I love it! The airbrushing helps of course (lol) but even with the non-retouched images, it’s the same. I am so grateful for this experience. I am telling everyone I can about it and I really hope my friends get to experience the same thing at some point.

I haven’t given him the video or greeting card yet, I want to save those as little surprises on a random day or for a weekend alone without our kids =) but the Supermodel Video was so fun to watch and I like how it brings the photo session to life, it’s awesome.

I want everyone to know about your studio and what a PHENOMENAL job you women do at making other women feel as amazing as you made me feel =)

Our whole staff has sooo much fun each time we hold a Pin Up Party at our studio. All of the girls attending have so much positive energy that it feels like it projects onto us! The ladies are all dolled up with hair, make-up, heels, and sexy outfits, and are having a great time with their friends. My favorite part of the day is when I hear the group watching a slideshow of images from one of the girls’ photo shoot. You can hear anything from squeals of excitement to “oohs and ahhs” or “you look HOT!” and “you look beautiful!” I smile every time. The Pin Up Party we held about two weeks ago was no exception to this. The ladies were gorgeous and super sweet. The hostess sent me a little thank you email the next day and I wanted to share it along with a couple of group photos… xoxo, Crystal
