Jennifer Lary is awesome! She is so beautiful inside and out. When I first met Jennifer I thought for sure she was a model then, as I started talking to her during her viewing I found a little more about her. She said that her friends were NOT going to believe her when they see her photos! She mentioned how she was a super casual girl who wears pigtail braids almost everyday! My jaw dropped when she told me this! I couldn’t believe what this super hot, model material girl was saying to me!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone there for such an amazing experience!  Thank you for working with me on my payments.  You were very pleasant to work with.

I loved the whole thing!  I went from looking like a 16 year old girl to my actual age of 28 in those photos.  I loved them.  I know you guys have tons of ladies that come in and probably cannot remember everyones names but please tell Marissa, Peggy, Kimberlee, Deena thank you for all of there hard work.  Oh can’t forget the new girl (Danielle) that helped me pick out my photos, she was cool too!

I will let every lady I know to come to you guys.  Even if they don’t have a man to give these to, they should be getting them done for themselves like I did.  I can’t wait until I’m 80 and then I will really get to show my photos off  lol.

Here is part two of yesterday’s blog :)… a few more gorgeous girls who came in for photo shoots this Fall! Thank you for allowing us to share these, ladies! It is so fun to see all the variety. Every single photo shoot is unique, just like every woman who walks through our door ;). xo, Crystal

First off:  I LOVE Jennifer Love Hewitt. Always have!  Ever since her “I Know What You Did Last Summer” days :). She has such a sweet and wholesome look/demeanor while being knock-out sexy at the same time.  We even have one of her music videos on our playlist.. “BareNaked”.. fitting, right ;)?  Anyway, I wanted to share this YouTube video of a recent interview with Maxim Magazine.
Her responses to the questions about her Maxim photo shoot(s) remind me so much of what many of our clients say about their photo shoots with us! She mentions that each photo shoot represents a different time in her life. A lot of our clients return for second and third shoots with us just for that reason. Every single photo shoot is different. Whether it be different sets and outfits, or a different hair style, the sky is the limit as far as variety!
I also couldn’t help but love her “See, Mom was hot one day” joke because so many women who do a boudoir shoot feel the same way! Almost every day, I hear women say they want to book their shoot with us before they start having babies. Of course, I just laugh whenever a girl says that. I can totally relate, but I also think women can be sexy at all ages :).
One other quote that stood out to me was, “It was really fun to see how sexy I could be for the day.” That is something I also think our clients can absolutely relate to! It is exactly what we mean when we use our “Supermodel for a day” tagline :).

Living in a world where we are constantly bombarded with pressures of having the perfect body, it is easy to get caught up with negative thoughts about your own body. Kimee came across this image below and I think is a great reminder to everyone that beauty doesn’t just come in one pencil thin package. Each woman is unique and beautiful in their own way. Model Lizzie Miller talks about how this one little photo made such a huge impact in the lives of women across the world without it even meaning to. To see a beautiful model with a little belly roll is foreign to most of us but very encouraging at the same time. I think Lissie looks absolutely beautiful in her natural form, and is a reminder to all of us that we should focus on positive healthy views about our bodies and ditch the negative ones….after all confidence magnifies beauty ;)

My boudoir Divas experience has come full circle. My husband’s reaction to his gift was priceless… there was a lot of laughing combined with questions of ‘when? how? where?’ He loved loved LOVED it! We were on our way to the airport and he had to download the pics onto his laptop before we left! We just started trying to have a family ad he said that day, he wants me to go back and have pictures taken by you with my big belly. It is difficult to put into words what this experience meant to me. The two hours I spent at your studio made me feel sexy and beautiful. From the different outfits, and poses, to seeing the finished product, and holding back tears of excitement! Thank you for the work you do!!

I (Crystal) was emailing back and forth with a client yesterday regarding her order and at the end of an email wrote, “BTW, what did you think of your supermodel video? What did your hubby think of everything?!!” Her response is priceless….

My oh my, I can’t even replicate the sound that came out of his mouth when he saw the photos; it was like an animal growl. He loves LOVES them to say the least, as do I.

I know he thought I was beautiful before, but the level of sexiness and sex appeal that the photos show just brought it to a new level. And for once, I feel the way he sees me! I think as women it’s hard to see ourselves in that way when we look in the mirror because we see the everyday woman in looking back at us, with all of the things we dislike about ourselves. But for some reason, seeing myself in print was completely different; I didn’t see the things about myself I don’t like, I saw the whole package…and I love it! The airbrushing helps of course (lol) but even with the non-retouched images, it’s the same. I am so grateful for this experience. I am telling everyone I can about it and I really hope my friends get to experience the same thing at some point.

I haven’t given him the video or greeting card yet, I want to save those as little surprises on a random day or for a weekend alone without our kids =) but the Supermodel Video was so fun to watch and I like how it brings the photo session to life, it’s awesome.

I want everyone to know about your studio and what a PHENOMENAL job you women do at making other women feel as amazing as you made me feel =)
