With Summer just around the corner, we are gearing up for our busiest time of the year here in our San Diego Studio.  Not only are we packed with brides-to-be, but we get girls who want to pamper themselves, have a girls day out with their friends (our Pin Up Parties), or just feel in the mood to show off some skin and their bikini ready body to that special someone.

It seems we are a little been behind on posting recent shoots, but we have been so busy in the studio we haven’t had the chance!  So I just wanted to take a moment and post some pics of women who recently came in and are oh-so ready for Summer!  I (Ashley) had the pleasure of photographing all of these awesome ladies.  I seriously feel so blessed that this is what my job consists of on a daily basis!  On that note, I have to thank these ladies for not only making my job that much more fun and enjoyable, but for signing image release forms so that I can share their gorgeous images with all of you!

Tiffany and I bonded over having the same bra :)  It’s awesome and from Victoria’s Secret for those wondering!  Look at her gorgeous green eyes!

Rachel’s from the same town as me! (Along with Marissa, Danielle and Deena for that matter).  She rocked the pin up pose, even though she thought I was crazy at first for making her feel so silly. :)

Ms. L had such a fun personality and although she didn’t pick them for her album, I got some awesome laughing pictures of her.  We both laughed a LOT during her shoot!

I was obsessed with getting great shots of Ms. C’s tattoo.  I loved the colors!  This was the last set of her photo shoot and we had a blast with the fan and even got some great jumping shots.  So fun :).

Thanks again ladies!  You all rocked your shoots and hope you love the finished product.  Hope to see you again some day for another photo shoot! :)

One of the most frequently asked questions we get here is: “Do you provide the outfits or do we need to supply our own?” The answer to that is, BOTH! :) We have a great dressing room with tons of fun outfits, lingerie, negligees, shoes, and accessories! However, you never know if we will have exactly what you are looking for, so we always recommend girls bringing a couple options that she knows will fit her and flatter her figure. We ALSO recommend to bring items with meaning if this is a gift. I (Ashley) had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Jenn and she did all of the above for her outfits. She picked one from our dressing room, brought a great bra and panty set, and brought her husband’s tie with his favorite team’s logo on it (so cute!). Jennifer Lary is awesome! She is so beautiful inside and out. When I first met Jennifer I thought for sure she was a model then, as I started talking to her during her viewing I found a little more about her. She said that her friends were NOT going to believe her when they see her photos! She mentioned how she was a super casual girl who wears pigtail braids almost everyday! My jaw dropped when she told me this! I couldn’t believe what this super hot, model material girl was saying to me!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone there for such an amazing experience!  Thank you for working with me on my payments.  You were very pleasant to work with.

I loved the whole thing!  I went from looking like a 16 year old girl to my actual age of 28 in those photos.  I loved them.  I know you guys have tons of ladies that come in and probably cannot remember everyones names but please tell Marissa, Peggy, Kimberlee, Deena thank you for all of there hard work.  Oh can’t forget the new girl (Danielle) that helped me pick out my photos, she was cool too!

I will let every lady I know to come to you guys.  Even if they don’t have a man to give these to, they should be getting them done for themselves like I did.  I can’t wait until I’m 80 and then I will really get to show my photos off  lol.

Happy Monday everyone! Ashley here and I just wanted to post another one of my recent shoots. :) Shannon came in a couple weeks ago and although she started out a little quiet, she totally opened up and was such a blast to photograph! Her man is in the Navy and she brought the cutest accessories including a bra with anchors on it, LOVE! As you can see below, the camera loved her :)

For those of you who follow our blog, you will know that I (Ashley) joined The Boudoir Divas team just over a year ago as the Divas’ “go-to-girl/Exec Assistant” and have since expanded my job titles to include “PR Director/Marketing/Social Media Manager/Boudoir International Admin”…kind of a little bit of everything around our little studio. :) (If you want to see my VERY FIRST Video on my first day at the studio, click HERE!)All the while, I was training to be a boudoir photographer for our studio! The time has come and I am now shooting regularly. It is an awesome feeling and everything I learned, I learned from M & K. Many of you have asked me to post pics, so here is one of my first shoots. First off:  I LOVE Jennifer Love Hewitt. Always have!  Ever since her “I Know What You Did Last Summer” days :). She has such a sweet and wholesome look/demeanor while being knock-out sexy at the same time.  We even have one of her music videos on our playlist.. “BareNaked”.. fitting, right ;)?  Anyway, I wanted to share this YouTube video of a recent interview with Maxim Magazine.
Her responses to the questions about her Maxim photo shoot(s) remind me so much of what many of our clients say about their photo shoots with us! She mentions that each photo shoot represents a different time in her life. A lot of our clients return for second and third shoots with us just for that reason. Every single photo shoot is different. Whether it be different sets and outfits, or a different hair style, the sky is the limit as far as variety!
I also couldn’t help but love her “See, Mom was hot one day” joke because so many women who do a boudoir shoot feel the same way! Almost every day, I hear women say they want to book their shoot with us before they start having babies. Of course, I just laugh whenever a girl says that. I can totally relate, but I also think women can be sexy at all ages :).
One other quote that stood out to me was, “It was really fun to see how sexy I could be for the day.” That is something I also think our clients can absolutely relate to! It is exactly what we mean when we use our “Supermodel for a day” tagline :).
