Change is in the air around here. We have had such an awesome team and we know that it is the people that we select that make our fabulous Diva experience fabulous! Recently we had to say a very sad goodbye to Danielle, who Dad’s health (please say a prayer for him although he is in recovery now) had her jumping to her family’s aid in a time of need. In the same couple of weeks we said bye bye to Ashley as she left to work at Barona (she went to school for hotel management so it makes sense). That left Deena, Crystal, Kimee and I (Weston helped with a lot too) with a lot on our hands and on a mission to find the perfect peeps to fill these wonderful ladies shoes. It was a hard task but with the help of our network of amazing friends, and tons of resumes to sift through we found the gals!

Next week we will introduce the new Boss Lady in charge of running the whole place, you may know her, then we also found our new Princess of Production, we hired a perfect fit for Photographer and Customer Service, then we even added another Photographer and Make-up Artist. Whew!!! We were busy and we love what we ended up with. We will make their big debut on the blog and site next week.

Jennifer Lary is awesome! She is so beautiful inside and out. When I first met Jennifer I thought for sure she was a model then, as I started talking to her during her viewing I found a little more about her. She said that her friends were NOT going to believe her when they see her photos! She mentioned how she was a super casual girl who wears pigtail braids almost everyday! My jaw dropped when she told me this! I couldn’t believe what this super hot, model material girl was saying to me!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone there for such an amazing experience!  Thank you for working with me on my payments.  You were very pleasant to work with.

I loved the whole thing!  I went from looking like a 16 year old girl to my actual age of 28 in those photos.  I loved them.  I know you guys have tons of ladies that come in and probably cannot remember everyones names but please tell Marissa, Peggy, Kimberlee, Deena thank you for all of there hard work.  Oh can’t forget the new girl (Danielle) that helped me pick out my photos, she was cool too!

I will let every lady I know to come to you guys.  Even if they don’t have a man to give these to, they should be getting them done for themselves like I did.  I can’t wait until I’m 80 and then I will really get to show my photos off  lol.

First off:  I LOVE Jennifer Love Hewitt. Always have!  Ever since her “I Know What You Did Last Summer” days :). She has such a sweet and wholesome look/demeanor while being knock-out sexy at the same time.  We even have one of her music videos on our playlist.. “BareNaked”.. fitting, right ;)?  Anyway, I wanted to share this YouTube video of a recent interview with Maxim Magazine.
Her responses to the questions about her Maxim photo shoot(s) remind me so much of what many of our clients say about their photo shoots with us! She mentions that each photo shoot represents a different time in her life. A lot of our clients return for second and third shoots with us just for that reason. Every single photo shoot is different. Whether it be different sets and outfits, or a different hair style, the sky is the limit as far as variety!
I also couldn’t help but love her “See, Mom was hot one day” joke because so many women who do a boudoir shoot feel the same way! Almost every day, I hear women say they want to book their shoot with us before they start having babies. Of course, I just laugh whenever a girl says that. I can totally relate, but I also think women can be sexy at all ages :).
One other quote that stood out to me was, “It was really fun to see how sexy I could be for the day.” That is something I also think our clients can absolutely relate to! It is exactly what we mean when we use our “Supermodel for a day” tagline :).

The people (aka: YOU!) have spoken and we now hold the title of 1st Place Winners! If anything was going to add spark to a marriage it would be these photos! Wow. Apparently wet hair really takes an image to SUPER sexy fast! Kimberlee photographed this beautiful young lady and she wanted to get her hair wet for her last shots, which I think was a really great idea.  In fact when we moved into this fab studio we found a shower of all things…. which really got our minds churning. Hmmmm…. if any studio could shoot a shower set while still keeping it beautiful/classy it would be us right?!  Here is the only dilemma, as of now the hot water heater isn’t working and we may possibly be using the shower for storage,  so I’m thinking we will continue to just wet your hair unless we get enough of you asking for the shower set and then we just might have to invest in that heater. Leave your requests below… we aim to please around here :) – So are you daring enough to do this look below when you come in? – M

Hey ladies! Most of you already know about our gorgeous Bombshell books (beautiful black 8×8 square albums featuring 20-25 images of YOU!)… but did you know you also have the option to swap out your 8×8 book for a larger 10×10 Art Book? When you come in for your boudoir photo shoot here at our studio in San Diego, you’ll have the chance to look at both books, and decide which one is best for you! The main bonus with the Art Book is that it’s a little bit larger, and it’s also nice because you’re able to add as many images as you’d like (so if you can’t narrow it down to just 20 images, this is a good way to go… we often have clients who can only narrow down their choices to about 30-40 images, so this book works out perfectly for them!)

KISSmas party 09 was a success, blast, and overall good time. We are so thankful to those who joined us and made the evening so memorable.
