I had the pleasure of working with Katie for her Mama-to-be photo shoot last week. Katie has great style and it was fun to see that shine through during her session. BoudoirDivas: Hi Laura, tell me what made you want to have a boudoir shoot?
Laura: I wanted to give my husband a photo album of ME for our 30th wedding anniversary. This year is also my “golden birthday year” um yes, like I turn 50 – Holy sheiks….
BD: Well you look great! What was his reaction?
Laura: He loved it!! He took the album to work with him for a few days! he he
BD: Which package did you book?
Laura: Full shoot
BD: Did you have any hesitations/concerns before the shoot?
Laura: Yes of course! I was nervous on how the pictures would turn out. How would my body look?
BD: Who was your photographer?
Laura: Marissa
BD: Did Marissa do anything in particular that helped with those concerns?
Laura: Marissa is a doll and she loves what she does and this reflects on us the customer.. She made me feel very comfortable with her smile and comments on how great I was doing in the shoot.
BD: Would you do this again and would you recommend this to other women?
Laura: Most definitely! I am trying to get my husband to let go of the book for a few hours to show my friends – no such luck yet!!
BD: That’s awesome! So, how did you feel when you saw your pictures for the first time?
Laura: Shocked – that was me? No way
BD: Can you give me one word that describes how you felt after the photo shoot was over?
Laura: SEXY
BD: Was there a particular reason you decided to book with the Boudoir Divas – rather than another studio? Laura: They were the most classy around
BD: And finally, how did you hear about the Boudoir Divas studio?

BoudoirDivas: What made you want to have a boudoir shoot?
Debbie: I wanted a reason to buckle down, and get in shape. Some people book a marathon to run in, some people join a Biggest Loser competition. I decided to book a photoshoot–what could be more fun and motivating!
BD: Exactly! So, was it for a special occasion or gift?
Debbie: This was a gift to myself. And one that I knew my boyfriend would enjoy too ;)
BD: Have you shown him the pictures yet? What was his reaction?
Debbie: Not yet, I’ll let you know when he sees them.
BD: Which package did you book?
Debbie: I went for the whole enchilada–4 outfits, 4 scenes, hair and make-up, with designer book.
BD: Awesome! Our Full package is definitely the most popular. Did you have any hesitations/concerns before the shoot?
Debbie: Yes, about 3 weeks before-hand, I felt like I wanted another 2 months to prepare. I was concerned that I hadn’t been as disciplined as I wanted and wasn’t in good enough shape for the shoot.
BD: Who was your photographer and did she do anything in particular that helped with that concern?
Debbie: Kim and the day of the shoot couldn’t have been worse timing–for my, um, “cycle.” That morning I was feeling bloated and puffy, but the moment I walked in that studio and saw my name on the welcome sign, my issues began to melt away. Then, when Peggy did such a phenomenal job with my hair and makeup, I felt like a supermodel. From the word go, as Kimmy and I were choosing what to wear and which looks we were going for, she was so positive. She made me feel like a million bucks, by the time we started shooting, I was laughing and having fun. Gone were the insecurities and worries–I felt like a cover girl.
BD: That’s exactly what we like to hear! Would you do this again and would you recommend this to other women?
Debbie: I think this is the perfect gift a woman can give to herself. I’m going to make this a birthday present to myself every year. I highly recommend this to other women–even if no one else ever sees the pictures.
BD: On that note, can you describe how you felt when you saw your pictures for the first time?
Debbie: I was so impressed with Kim’s artistic talent. The different effects and lighting she put into each shot made me look my best.
BD: Can you give me one word that describes how you felt after the photo shoot was over?
Debbie: Exhilarated!
BD: Why did you decide to book w/ the Boudoir Divas – rather than another studio?
Debbie: I met Crystal at a networking event, and I liked her energy. I asked to come in for a consultation, and once I stepped into the studio–with the sparkly chandelier and all the girly backdrops, I was sold. It’s nice to be in an all-girls atmosphere. I felt like I could be sexy and it was safe.
